Hi September! Can’t believe you’re already here, and summer is about to end…I’m getting ready to get back to teaching, looking forward to see my students again, and discover new talent. For now I’m enjoying my last few days off, so happy to have the sun out.I took a walk in the park and chilled there for a bit with my boyfriend, and was happy to find my camera in my backpack, so I ended up taking a few outfit pictures. Today’s outfit is simple, wearing my favorite Topshop culottes, my army green Puma Creepers and an army t-shirt.
Finally some sun! The weather has been quite disappointing this summer, hasn’t it? Im combining a few pastel tones in my latest look, pinks and lilac. Colors that brighten up my mood, sunny or not. Have a look!
Although it might be freezing and snowing outside, River Island is ready for spring and summer with their new SS16 collection. This collection is filled with bold colors, prints and textures. It has a bit of a 70’s touch, with patchwork, suede and fringe. Don’t worry though, there are neutrals and denim basics too, that would be be a great addition to anyone’s closet!
This look is the last outfit I shot during my citytrip to Paris. I wore a striped maxi dress by Topshop, an item that became an instant summer favorite after I bought it. I’m kind of sad I’ll probably have to wait a whole year to be able to wear it again.
I guess it’s officially time to say goodbye to summer and transition into fall. I don’t know about you, but I find it sometimes hard to choose what kind of things to wear.. Should I wear a jumper today, or is it still too warm? Do I need to wear tights or not? It’s so much easier to layer things in summer, because everything is so lightweight. As you can see, I layered my maxi dress with a sleeveless denim jacket and a white blazer. I guess I’ll have to clean out my closet soon and see what summer items need to be stored.
Anyway, back to Paris! On this day we visited The Sacré-Cœur Basilica in Monmarte. It was a lovely day, we had crêpes with Nutella for lunch (best lunch ever) , and walked around the beautiful streets of Paris. Before dinner we visited a supermarket and bought some bread, wine and other snacks. We sat down near the Seine and watched the sun go down as we had a bit of a rest after so much walking around that day.
Here’s my first look from Paris! Wearing a co-ord set by Zara, in a beautiful navy color. This set is made of a great comfy and light material, so ideal for a long day of walking around Paris. It was such a great trip, it’s really fun to go through all the pictures I took while I was there. I was happy to shoot a few outfits there, since it’s such a beautiful city, even this little fountain in the middle of a shopping street was nice. A real fashionblogger would probably wear a pair of killerheels with this outfit..But I left mine at the hotel since my feet were sore and had some blisters, I just wore my Birkenstocks.
I visited Paris last week with my boyfriend. A five day trip, filled with fashion, food, art and one beautiful city. We drove there on Monday morning and returned Friday evening. Short, but very sweet! My feet still hurt thinking back on all the walking we did there, since our hotel was a little further away from a metro station than we thought. Take a look at some of the pictures I took!
The one piece isn’t boring, and shouldn’t only be worn by you mom or granny. Forget about those tiny little bikini’s that feel uncomfortable, this summer the one-piece bathing suit is making waves!
There are so many options: cut outs, deep necklines, cool prints, the list is endless. Today I picked this 50’s inspired suit by Topshop, that leaves just a little something to the imagination.

From left to right:
I love wearing midi skirts and midi dresses in summer. Either really feminine with heels or kind of laid back with a pair of comfy sneakers.Yesterday I wore sneakers. New ones too! Finally got the Stan Smith sneakers in my size, found them at the kids department. Actually a lot cheaper as well, so yay for small feet! These warm days feel great, and ask for a good look at the stuff that’s been hiding in the back of my closet, waiting for sunnier days for so long. Like this crochet cardigan for instance, or maybe I should call it a kimono? I’m not sure. But I do know it’s such a great piece for days like this. I don’t really wear anything sleeveless, just because of the simpel fact that I feel uncomfortable, and feel like my arms are too chubby to pull that off. I always combine it with a kimono or jacket or something, but maybe I should just get over it already? Have a look at the whole outfit and tell me what you think!
