Benefit Cosmetics has launched a new blush palette called Cheek Parade and it’s a showstopper!

Every now and then I like to change up my daily skin care routine. The past few months I’ve been dealing with bad breakouts and acne, which really frustrated me. I started using the Drying Lotion by Mario Badescu and became an instant fan. I wanted to try more of their skin care, so I ordered the Anti-Aging Kit. Not really worried about getting older, so I didn’t buy it to prevent wrinkles or anything… but this set contains glycolic acid, which helps prevents and fight acne. Let me show you the set, and I’ll also show you the Drying Lotion!
A pink bomber, need I say more?
Pastel colors are a major fashion trend this spring and I wanted to embrace this trend by adding this gorgeous pink bomber by Topshop to my wardrobe. Of course, bombers are a trend item that have been around for some time now, and it looks like it’s going to stay around. You can style it with a pair of jeans, culottes or with a pencil skirt or a-line skirt, with pastel or crisp white sneakers or even heels for a more dressed up take on this trend.
I’ve received some cool new items by webshop Straatstijl. They have a really cool collection at the moment, so I was really happy when the mailman delivered my package. These items are great for fall, so that’s why I’m happy to tell you I’m also doing a giving away! Curious?

If there’s one thing you can never count on here in Holland, it’s the weather. I mean the sun was shining all day, but I was busy with work inside. The moment I put my camera outside, it just went dark… This long cardigan by Vila is really an item I love for these unpredictable days. It’s long and comfy, can be used as a coat on warmer days and big enough to take cover in. Score!

Zara’s summer sale has begun, I’m sure you’ve noticed. It’s the same frustrating situation each year, trying to make yourself wait for the summer sale to get that bag or coat that you’ve been drooling over for weeks. The finally sale starts. You find the piece you love and it’s on sale. But the first round of sale is not aaaa-maaa-zing. (It’s great, don’t get me wrong.)
But every year I’m debating; get it while it’s still in stock and in my size, or waiting a few weeks and either get that piece of clothing or bag you want for a really great price. Sometimes it means it’s sold out by the time I finally allow myself to even go in the Zara to begin with. (Sometimes I need to protect myself from senseless sale shopping) Frustrating! At the same time, it makes sale shopping almost kind of a sport.
Last week I ‘allowed’ myself to have a little peek in to the first round of sale, and came home with these pastel pink sliders. I’ve had my eyes on them for weeks, made myself wait and saved myself a little money. Yay me! ;-) I actually haven’t seen any wishlist or summer musthaves in this collection, but maybe that’ll change.
Have you done any sale shopping?
