So I was sent three bags to taste and test out last week, lucky me! And they were so good and yummy, let me tell you more about the Broderick’s mini bars.
” Barry & Bernard Broderick are brothers. Raised in the wild rolling hills of Ireland, they’re a couple of cake crafting connoisseurs who started the Broderick’s company under the watchful eye of their mother Ina.When these two idiots aren’t arguing, they are dreaming up fantastic new products to add to their ever-growing roster of scrumptious cakes and sweet things. They are the Cake Crusaders! “
Barry is the passionate about creating the most unique and great tasting chocolate treats, and he also designs all the machinery they use. His favorite is the Road Rocking Choc Block with real Belgium chocolate, large chunks of cookie and fluffy pink and white marshmallows.
Bernard is the brains behind the operation. His favorite is the Caramental: soft caramel, a thick layer of chocolate an a crumbly layer of cookies.
These brothers sure know how to make a taste treat!
The Broderick’s bars contain a mixture of: luxury Belgian chocolate, sun-raised Irish oats, rich Irish butter and a signature golden syrup. They make the cakes by hand, and this means there’s always going to be slight variations.
I mean, look at them! It was so hard for me to wait and open the bags before I had the time to take these pictures. But we had a little celebration after I was done, with tea and a taste of these mini bars. My boyfriend loves the Caramental the most, I just love them all. Can’t choose ;) They’re all soooo good: the Belgian chocolate, the cookie crumbly layer, the caramel, the marshmallows…
You can find the Broderick’s mini bars exclusively at Albert Heijn in these three resealable bags. You can also find them at AH To Go, lunchrooms, coffiecorners and other shops around Holland.
For my Dutch followers, be sure to check my Instagram! Broderick’s were to kind to let give away three sets of these yummy bars. :)
